(Video) Petr Cech HOWLER: That wasn’t ‘in the script’ says Arsenal goalie after HORRENDOUS West Ham BLUNDER

New Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has admitted that he was to blame as the Gunners fell to an opening-day defeat to West Ham United in the Premier League.

The former Chelsea stopper was guilty of not one but two horrendous errors as Arsene Wenger’s side threw away the chance to make a winning start to their Premier League campaign.

Naturally, the legendary Czech stopper appears desperate to move on from the error, although not without holding his hand up and admitting his fault.

Admittedly, Cech was responsible for failing to deal with a set piece, when he launched forward to clear the danger only for Hammers defender Cheikhou Kouyate to head into an empty net.

Then he was slow to react as Mauro Zarate turned before sending a bobbling shot past the former Chelsea man, who appeared to go to ground remarkably slowly.

The former Stade Rennais has enjoyed a decade in the Premier League as one of the genuinely superb stoppers in the division, but having spent a season in the stands, watching on as Thibaut Courtois held fort for the Pensioners, he appears to be a little rusty.
