A signing at last!
Arsenal fans were baffled as rumours spread quickly that the Gunners had completed the signing of 16-year-old striker Rex Secco for an incredible £34m.
However, according to the Metro, these transfer stories ended up being a hoax about a made-up player, though the news seemed to gain a surprising amount of attention on social media.
Arsenal had a quiet transfer window this summer, so perhaps it was wishful thinking on the part of many desperate Gooners out there in the Twittersphere.
