Liverpool FLOP only learnt ONE WORD of English at Anfield

Posted by

It has been revealed by the Daily Mirror that Liverpool flop Iago Aspas only learnt one word while he was with the club.

The 28-year-old apparently only knew the word ‘yes’ while at Anfield, which may go some way to explaining why he did so poorly at the Merseyside club. The Spaniard scored once in 15 appearances for the Reds, and never in the Premier League.

The forward is now at Celta de Vigo, having move there this summer. It is a return to the club that he started his career with for the former Sevilla man, having stayed there until he moved to Anfield in 2013.

The return has been successful so far, with the striker scoring one goal and assisting another in his three appearances to date. Having already matched his Liverpool haul, Aspas will now want to kick on and rediscover his prior form with Celta.

Christian Benteke: Liverpool must work harder

The Reds are unlikely to miss the forward, with new signing Christian Benteke hitting the ground running at Anfield. The Belgian’s brilliant overhead kick against Manchester United was particularly eye-catching.
