Arsenal star Mesut Ozil is set to be the subject of a bid from Fenerbahce, reports the Daily Express.
The 26-year-old’s agent, Erkut Sogut, has revealed that the Turkish club are set to make a ‘serious’ offer for his client. The Germany international has professed to support the Super Lig side in the past, and as such may be tempted by a move to the ?ükrü Saraco?lu Stadium.
“Fenerbahce are serious but it all depends on what answer Arsenal give,” Sogut said, “It will all become clear at the end of the season.”
It would be surprising if Arsene Wenger decided to let the World Cup winner to leave the Emirates Stadium. Ozil has been a key part of the side which has won the FA Cup for the past two seasons, and is expected to be vital again in the current campaign.
