Man United look to resurrect deal for PSG midfielder Lucas Moura

Manchester United are said to be keen on reigniting their interest in Paris Saint Germain midfielder Lucas Moura in the new year, according to the Metro.

The 23-year-old was a target for the Red Devils when he was still a teenager, but the French giants managed to steal his signature with a £31.6million move instead – something that was heavily criticised by then manager Sir Alex Ferguson (via Metro).

Reports in French publication claim that he was close to sealing a move to Old Trafford, and actually underwent a successful medical before choosing to join PSG.

However, it is also claimed that he is on the radar of a number of Premier League sides, who are all monitoring his potential availability, with United believed to be among the chasing pack and could look to resurrect their interest in him.

The Brazilian is likened to former United great Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for his role as super sub in the French capital, which is something that would go down well with the red half of Manchester.
