Man United eager to beat Arsenal to Brazil winger Lucas Moura

Manchester United are reportedly keen on stepping up their pursuit of Paris Saint Germain winger Lucas Moura, and will look to beat Premier League rivals Arsenal to his signature, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The Brazilian has endured a difficult time in the French capital, where he has been praised for his startling skill and ability, and derided for his inconsistency in equal measure.

And it is for that reason that he has been unable to command a regular starting spot with the Ligue 1 champions, and the club are now prepared to listen to any offers that might come their way for him.

However, that hasn’t stopped both Arsenal and United from expressing an interest in his signature, with the pair likely to go head to head to prize him away from France.

Back in 2012, former Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson tried to sign the then 19-year-old, but Lucas eventually plumped for Paris instead.
