It has been revealed that Adam Johnson was previously arrested on suspicion of possessing beastiality porn before his recent six year sentencing for sexual activity with a minor (via the Mirror), and Twitter has predictably reacted with outrage at the news.
To the surprise of many, Johnson still had plenty of supporters after pleading guilty to one count of grooming an underage girl and one count of sexual activity. Some pointed fingers at the victim, some claimed the fact that she appeared more mature than her age suggested was a major factor, and despite the law clearly being broken some simply didn’t believe he had done anything wrong.
The support appears to have dried up following the beastiality reports though, and we’ve searched Twitter to see people’s reaction to the news.

The report doesn’t actually clarify whether any animal porn was found on his computer, merely that he was arrested on suspicion of possession. That certainly won’t stop social media from tearing him apart though, and following his six year sentencing the media ban has been lifted so everything is coming out of the woodwork.
