According to a report from the Daily Star, Zlatan is seeking monthly wages of £2.4 million to play for his next team – which comes out to around £600,000-a-week. Per the report, Manchester United are currently the front-runners for his services over Serie A giants AC Milan.
The mark would immediately double his current wages with Paris Saint-Germain and put him in the same earning bracket as fellow world superstars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. But the number would also be well over twice as much as the Premier League’s highest earner, Man United captain Wayne Rooney, makes at £260k-a-week.
Zlatan has a career-high 32 league goals along with 41 total goals, but decided prior to PSG’s Champions League elimination that he would leave Paris at the end of the season.
