The Match of the Day presenter and former England international Gary Lineker joking called for the FA to bring Roy Hodsgon back in charge of England during this evenings 1-0 win over Slovakia.
Lineker published the tweet towards the end of the game where England were struggling to break down ten-man Slovakia.

The Three Lions went on to win the game in the 90+5 minute when Liverpool’s Adam Lallana found the back of the net to score his first international goal.
However, Lineker wasn’t finished there and continued to tweet following the result.

England boss Sam Allardyce got off to a winning start and moved to the top of Group F above Slovenia.
Meanwhile, The former Liverpool man Martin Skrtel was sent off after 57 minutes after stamping on Harry Kane’s leg.
England’s next fixture is against Spain in November for an international friendly. Premier League restarts this weekend with all eyes on the Manchester derby between City and United.
