Manchester United have revealed that Juan Mata has won the award for September goal of the month for his superb finish against reigning Premier League champions Leicester City.
Mata was expected to struggled for playing time under the stewardship of Jose Mourinho following what happened between the two at Chelsea but the Spanish international has gone onto player regularly for United.
The experienced attacking midfielder has been in impressive form scoring twice and providing one assist in all competitions.
