Tottenham confirmed line-up vs West Brom: Pochettino makes two changes with Son dropped

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to maintain their excellent recent form when they travel to the Hawthorns to take on West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men are on a run of five consecutive victories in all competitions, while their impressive Premier League form sees them sit just a point behind league leaders Manchester City ahead of kick-off.

The Baggies have good form against their opponents though, having held them to back-to-back 1-1 draws in their two meetings last season.

In turn, the visitors will be looking to avoid further frustration against Tony Pulis’ side, as they look to continue their impressive run of results without talismanic striker Harry Kane who remains out of action with an ankle injury.

Elsewhere, Danny Rose is missing while in-form star Heung-Min Son is dropped to the bench, with Pochettino likely to have one eye on the Champions League encounter with Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday night.

Son has scored five goals and provided two assists in six appearances in all competitions for Spurs so far this season, but following on from the international break and with a packed fixture list ahead, Spurs have opted to rotate things.

That in turn means summer signing Vincent Janssen will lead the line for the visitors, as they look to continue to march on and stay in and around the top of the table with another win.
