Juan Mata was one of several Manchester United players who participated in the latest Dream Day event yesterday.
Dream Days are held by Manchester United twice a year and enable fans who have serious and life-limiting illnesses to meet and train with the players.
“I always say that to be a football player for Manchester United gives you a chance to put a lot of smiles on people’s faces. These children are having a difficult time and we are able to put a smile on their faces and we feel very proud of that,” mate told Manchester United’s official website.
Mate also shared a photo of himself at the event along with the caption, “Yesterday was a special day.”
