John Terry has used his time off during the international break to improve upon his fitness as he looks to recover from an ankle injury and break back into the starting line-up.
The Chelsea captain lost his place in the Blues starting line-up after Antonio Conte switched to a 3-5-2 formation.
Terry shared a photo of himself running on a treadmill to his official Instagram page along with the following caption, “Back from Dubai and straight in the gym before training later. 20 minute Hit session. 20 seconds run 40 seconds recover. Repeat this 20 times. Incline 2%. Speed 22. This was my last run and I was absolutely blowing.”
Chelsea take on the newly promoted Middlesbrough next weekend in the Premier League.
