Former England player sees Harry Kane moving to Old Trafford before long

Jamie Redknapp poured praise on Harry Kane last night, saying that he would rather have the Englishman in his team than his opposing number 9, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Redknapp was quoted on Goal as saying that Kane “offers a lot more for his team”, while Zlatan worked less hard and didn’t get himself in such dangerous positions.

As always Kane put a shift in for Spurs, who were unable to break down United’s defence despite the presence of their talismanic striker.

Unfortunately for Spurs fans, former player Jamie can’t see them holding on to Kane for the rest of his career, especially if clubs like Manchester United do come calling in the future.

“He is a player in a few years you could see wearing a number nine shirt for United, or any other top team.”

The good news for Tottenham supporters is that Kane has a long term contract and has never shown any indications of being interested in moving anywhere other than his boyhood club. So long as the club are growing and building towards success there’s no reason to think that Kane would feel the desperate urge to pull on a red shirt.
