Chelsea have accepted a sensational £60 million bid for midfielder Oscar from Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG, report the Telegraph.

Earlier today, the Guardian reported the news that Andre Villas-Boas’ side had made a move to sign the Brazilian. Now the Telegraph are claiming that the offer has been accepted and Oscar has informed team-mates that he is set to leave Stamford Bridge for China.

The Telegraph also report that Oscar will earn up to £350,000-a-week at Shanghai SIPG, making him one of the highest earning players in world football.

These are incredible figures for a player who is yet to score for the Blues this campaign in nine appearances. He has been majorly out of favour under the stewardship of Antonio Conte, but has failed to make good on his opportunities.

The Telegraph claim that Villas-Boas tried to sign Oscar previously while he was manager at Tottenham but a move never came to fruition. It does appear as though he has finally got his man.
