Manchester United and Chelsea on red alert after teenage prodigy demands £165k-a-week to stay at his current club

Gianluigi Donnarumma’s contract demands at AC Milan have put Premier League clubs on high alert, according to The Sun.

Donnarumma has fast established himself as a cornerstone of Milan’s side, and one of the most reliable goalkeepers in Serie A. It is remarkable to think that he is only 17-years-old. His good form appears to have attracted the attention of two Premier League giants.

As per The Sun, Donnarumma’s agent, Mino Raiola, is demanding that his client earns £165,000-a-week at the San Siro, or he will seek a move elsewhere.

The tabloid believe that this has alerted both Manchester United and Chelsea, who would both be interested in securing the teen prodigy’s services.

There doesn’t appear to be any desperate need for a goalkeeper at either clubs. Chelsea have Thibaut Courtois, who is leading the race for the Premier League Golden Glove, and United have David De Gea, widely considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
