Liverpool suffered a 3-2 defeat to Swansea City at Anfield on Saturday, which in turn leaves big question marks over their Premier League title hopes.
Fernando Llorente gave his side a two-goal cushion in the second half, but a double from Roberto Firmino saw the hosts come storming back into the encounter as they threatened to find a winner.
However, it was Gylfi Sigurdsson who produced the defining moment of the game as he scored his side’s third to secure all three points for the visitors and give them a major boost in their bid to avoid the drop this season.

As for Liverpool, the defeat means they stay seven points adrift of leaders Chelsea, who are still to play this weekend and so in turn could feasibly stretch that lead to 10 over one of their main title rivals.
Jurgen Klopp cut a shocked figure at full time, and he’ll have a job on his hands to get his side back on track after this upset in a game that many expected them to win comfortably.
Llorente and Firmino undoubtedly each get the plaudits for two great goals apiece, while it was a second half to forget for the Liverpool backline as they buckled again to leave their record at 27 goals conceded in 22 games which gives them the worst defensive record in the Premier League at the time of writing.
