Fulham vs Tottenham confirmed starting lineups: Jan Vertonghen returns as the visitors name a full-strength side

Tottenham visit Fulham this afternoon as they look to progress to the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Having been eliminated from the Champions League at the group stage, and their title hopes hanging by a thread, the FA Cup provides a great chance for Mauricio Pochettino’s side to lift some silverware this season.

The strength of the lineup fielded today by Spurs perhaps reflects the importance of the competition to their season.

From front to back, the only notable changes are that Michel Vorm steps in for Hugo Lloris in goal, Kieran Trippier replaces Kyle Walker at right-back and Harry Winks starts in the middle of the park ahead of Mousa Dembele.

Jan Vertonghen makes his first start for Tottenham in five weeks, partnering compatriot Toby Alderweireld at the heart of the defence.

For Fulham, there are two players in the squad who will be extremely motivated to get the victory today. Tomas Kalas and Lucas Piazon, both on loan from Spurs’ bitter rivals Chelsea, are included in the home side’s 18-man squad.
