Porto will sell Manchester United transfer target Andre Silva in the summer transfer window to ease their financial crisis, report Calciomercato.

Despite being just 21-years-old, Silva has already established himself as a cornerstone in Porto’s side. So far this campaign, he has bagged 18 goals in 25 appearances for the Portuguese giants.

His good performances for Porto have also earned him a call up to the Portuguese national team, where he has bagged four goals in five appearances. He has taken to international football like a fish to water, and his stunning form appears to have captured the attention of one of football’s biggest names.

According to Calciomercato, Manchester United are interested in securing Silva’s services. They may well have been offered some serious encouragement too, as the Italian outlet report that Porto could cash-in on their prize asset in order to ease their financial difficulties.

Calciomercato believe that Porto will demand as much as £42.9million if they are to part with Silva in the summer.
