Tottenham striker Harry Kane limped off after just seven minutes in his side’s FA Cup tie with Millwall at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
The England international suffered what looked to be a nasty ankle injury, but on a positive note he walked off the pitch and didn’t require a stretcher.
Nevertheless, the mere fact that he’s picked up a problem will be a huge concern for Mauricio Pochettino as Spurs rely so heavily on the prolific forward who has been in excellent form in recent weeks.
The 23-year-old has scored 24 goals in 28 games so far this season, and aside from the fact that he will be a miss on Sunday as Tottenham look to advance to the semi-finals of the FA Cup, with the club pushing to finish in the top four this season in the Premier League, they’ll be desperate to see him back soon.
Any extended period of time on the sidelines will be a major blow for Tottenham, as seen with the reaction from supporters on Twitter below…
Uh oh, Kane off. Didn't seem in much pain so hopefully may not be too serious. Vincent, time to show up!
