Liverpool have reportedly cleared the way for Real Madrid to seal the transfer of €70million Lyon attacking midfielder Nabil Fekir this summer.
According to Don Balon, Chelsea could also be in the running for the France international, with Liverpool seemingly ending their interest in bringing him to Anfield.

The Spanish outlet states that Fekir was a target for Madrid under previous manager Zinedine Zidane, but he could still be on their radar despite the French tactician’s departure at the end of last season.
Los Blancos need new signings in attack after selling Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus, and, as Don Balon note, Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has become one of the main targets.
Fekir could be a decent alternative, however, though it would perhaps make sense for the 25-year-old to wind up at Stamford Bridge as Hazard’s replacement instead.
At this stage, it’s anyone’s guess how this one might pan out, but it seems likely at least that Fekir is not Liverpool-bound.
Sport have recently linked the Ligue 1 attacker with Chelsea, stating he’d likely cost around €70million to prise away from Lyon.
