Juande Ramos and La Liga-based transfer targets go together like cheese on toast and here is the latest slice!
Tottenham are being linked with Real Mallorca star Juan Arango, who has admitted he wants to move to England this summer.
Arango has been strongly linked with a move to the Premiership after an outstanding season for Mallorca last season and Spurs boss Juande Ramos is known to be keen.
The winger says he is well aware of the speculation and cannot rule out the possibility of a move to the Premiership before the transfer window closes on August 31.
“The transfer window will close his doors in two months and many things can happen,” he told ABN. “I am aware of many rumours but nothing has been decided yet.
“I owe respect to my current club; as a consequence, speaking of my preference would not be correct.
“At the moment the English league is the best in the world, above all including the Spanish one and I would welcome moving there if it’s good for me.” (Eatsleepsport.com)
Venezuelan international Arango has steadily become one of the more consistent performers in La Liga and, after four years at Real Mallorca, it seems that he is ready for a new challenge. Ramos is known to be a big fan of the flair player who weighs in with a fair few goals of the spectacular variety. Valued in the 8m bracket, he would at least not break the Tottenham bank which has already taken a big hit with the excellent captures of Modric and Giovani.
