It appears that Juande may already planning what to do with the loot from a Dimitar sale and if they win the race for this genius then Tottenham fans will surely be ecstatic!
Tottenham have revived their interest in Andrei Arshavin as they prepare for the loss of Dimitar Berbatov.
Further to reports in the media that Spurs are interested in Andrei Arshavin, TPC can confirm that the club is making a second push to sign the brilliant Russian international.
TPC first revealed Tottenham’s interest in the schemer way back in October 2007 but the club were unable to strike a deal for the player. Since then, the Zenit St. Petersburg creator has enhanced his reputation further still by heading his team’s quest for UEFA Cup glory and a glittering EURO which has put him on the radar of Europe’s elite.
Damien Comolli identified Russian football as a hotbed for new talent some time ago but having been unable to wrap up a deal in the January transfer window he will now have to pay twice the price for the attacking midfielder as he would have back then, with a fee in excess of £20m now being mentioned. Forget Bentley, I am sure most Spurs fans already have, as this Russian maestro is one hell of a player. It now appears that Zenit are willing to listen to offers in the region of £22m for their prized possession. Barcelona are rumoured to be considering another shot at the 27 year old but if Ramos can persuade the diminutive ace that he has big plans for the north London club, plans that have already been illustrated by impressive new signings like Modric and Giovani. Do WHL regulars think that this deal can be pulled off?
