As Spurs stutter through their first 90 minutes of the season many will be hoping Ramos is close to securing a front man, well here are SEVEN he should consider splashing out on!

Ajax have tried to keep their prized asset by offering him the captain’s armband but the Dutch hotshot still refuses to sign a new deal and has reportedly made noises about wanting a move to the Premier League. Manchester United were top of the chasing pack but if they clinch the Berbatov deal then who knows maybe Ramos could launch a raid on Amsterdam?
Reportedly still an ongoing discussion between the Zenit moneymen and Daniel Levy. Having already increased their offer Spurs will be looking to the Russians to compromise and then who knows what might happen. He could be just what the club needs a nice attacker to link midfield and the frontman. He has shown what he is capable of at the highest level but Tottenham won’t be forced into a rip off bid!
Another Russian but a totally different prospect to Arshavin and the type of player who probably could operate up front on his own pretty effectively although I think Darren Bent has earned a chance to have a run in the first team but not sure the England man and Roman would work as a partnership.
This Argentinean has been repeatedly linked with a move to White Hart Lane and looks certain to leave his current side Real Zaragoza after they were relegated from the La Liga last term. Has a great scoring record but at 29 may only be a short term solution and a pretty expensive one at that.
Scored twice on the first day of the season to reaffirm his status as a deadly finisher when he stays clear of injury. Apparently already the subject of a bid from White Hart Lane, many fans seem to think he is not quite what Spurs should be looking for but he could be the kind of no nonsense front man who could do the trick.
Strongly linked with a move to White Hart Lane today, who knows maybe it would be a good move. Many may say he is past his best but he did manage 11 goals in 24 starts last term and when fully fit the 28 year old can still be handful, could work alongside Darren Bent also.
More creativity and purpose from the wings could be handy also. Juande has been chasing this Spaniard for some time now, the 20 year old Sevilla winger can also play behind the front man has great potential and is of course a player than Ramos knows well from his time in charge at the La Liga club.
Do Spurs fans think that any of these could do the trick, or are they’re other players out there who could be a better bet?
