Apparently this long-running saga will be completed very soon and Juande Ramos will have put the finishing touches on one hell of a busy summer transfer season!

Tottenham are ready to clinch the signing of Russian star Andrei Arshavin this weekend – and open the door for Dimitar Berbatov to join Manchester United.
White Hart Lane supremo Daniel Levy has made the breakthrough on the protracted move to land Euro 2008 ace Arshavin, with a deal of just over £20million to be settled with Zenit St Petersburg.
Arshavin, 27, is waiting on the nod to fly in today as his club accept he wants to go and they drain every penny out of the transfer. The Russian playmaker agreed terms weeks ago.
Coach Ramos demanded Arshavin was signed before Berbatov was sold. The Bulgarian met chairman Levy again yesterday in a bid to finally force through his move. (Sunday Mirror)
So according to this source the Russian is a shoe-in to sign for the White Hart Lane outfit. The £21m-rated attacker has made it clear he wants to leave Zenit and whilst his club first battled against the move it became clearer that they then wanted to cash in on their prize asset. The original valuation scared off Barcelona and now that Tottenham have upped their bid to a more than reasonable fee maybe this deal can really be settled although some reports have suggested that the north London club may be considering giving up on the Arshavin. Do Spurs fans think their squad is stronger or weaker after this summer’s ins and outs?
