It’s been a long time since Tottenham got some good news! After dealing with another crushing defeat over the weekend, Juande Ramos finally awoke this morning to something positive for a change!
Tottenham may be bottom of the Barclays Premier League but they find themselves among the top-rated teams for tomorrow’s Uefa Cup group stage draw.
The north Londoners are in Pot 1 alongside six-times European champions AC Milan, 2006 and 2007 Uefa Cup winners Sevilla, 2004 winners Valencia and 2005 champions CSKA Moscow. (The Independent)
What this means for Tottenham is that they don’t have to play any of the Pot 1 teams in the group stage! That means the club will have to wait until the knockout round before they’d get the chance to face Martin Jol’s new club, among others.
Hey, you take the positives where you can get them! Do Tottenham supporters feel the same way?
