Manchester City target claims he’s still got something left in the tank: Fried food doesn’t count!

Out of work striker Ronaldo is carrying a large child under his shirt at the moment; however, even with the extra weight, he wants all interested parties to know that he plans to play football until he’s had enough of the game. Or is it when the game has had enough of him? I think that time has already come.

Ronaldo, who has been training with Flamengo, cannot wait to get back on the pitch and prove his doubters wrong.

“I want to stop playing when I decide, not because I have been forced to by an injury,” he told Brazilian magazine Trip.

“In the book of my career there are still a lot of blank pages to write upon, and I want to finish while scoring goals.” (ESPNSoccernet)

Honestly, I know Manchester City are interested in his services, but I can promise you they’d be better off picking blindly from their youth squad and seeing what a youngster could do if they need the help. Unless Ronaldo gets his weight under control and finds a way to prove the injury isn’t an issue, I can promise you he’d be worthless to Man City.

Would Man City supporters be fine with the club going after Ronaldo?
