Club legend believes Spurs can win the Premier League in the next two years.
Tottenham legend Ledley King has backed the club to win the Premier League title within the next two years according to BBC Sport.
The former Spurs captain retired from the game at the end of last season after suffering a career blighted by injuries.
During his time at the club, King was often forced to sit out training sessions and only actually kicked a ball during the club’s matches.
The former defender still managed to maintain a high standard to his football and is fondly remembered by the club’s supporters.
King is now an ambassador for Spurs and feels the club are heading in the right direction under their Portuguese boss Andre Villas-Boas.
Tottenham must first ensure they win the race for a Champions League qualification spot.
After appearing comfortable a few weeks ago, a poor run of form has seen the teams below them catch up as they look to finish in a top four position.
Spurs currently lie in fourth but are only four points clear of bitter rivals Arsenal, who can close the gap to just one point should they win their game in hand.
Tottenham are desperate to avoid a repeat of last season, where they narrowly lost out on Champions League qualification, despite finishing fourth, after Chelsea lifted the Champions League trophy.
