Welsh star also believes club can win Europa League.
Tottenhham’s Gareth Bale believes the club can challenge on two fronts this season according to The Daily Mail.
The club’s spirits were lifted at the weekend after they registered a 2-1 victory over Welsh side Swansea.
Bale netted a stunning winner for the visitors taking his tally for the season to 22.
That put an end to a run of three successive defeats that had seen them lose to Liverpool and Fulham in the Premier League and Inter Milan in the Europa League.
Some had suggested the defeats were a sign that Tottenham were on the verge of a similar capitulation that saw them eventually miss out of Champions League football last season.
But Spurs victory at the weekend has seen them rise above Chelsea into third and Bale believes the dressing room atmosphere at the club will see them qualify for the Champions League as well as be strong contenders to lift the Europa League trophy.
Spurs play Basel on Thursday in the Europa League quarter-finals with some suggesting their next opponents to be weaker than Inter Milan and Lyon, who they have defeated in previous rounds. But Bale insisted the team were not getting carried away and are just taking one game at a time.
