A look at the season ahead for Roberto Martinez and Everton.
Everton will be hoping for a strong start under their new manager Roberto Martinez, who was unfortunate to taste relegation with Wigan in 2012/13.
The Toffees were regularly chasing the European places under former manager David Moyes, and will be hoping for maximum points for some winnable-looking opening games against Norwich (away), West Brom (home) and newly-promoted Cardiff City (away).
Tougher tests will come at home to Chelsea in September, and away to Manchester City in October, and they will have the first Merseyside Derby of the season to look forward to when Liverpool visit Goodison Park on the 23rd of November. The return fixture at Anfield will then be on the 28th of January. In between that, they will have their first reunion with recently-departed manager Moyes when they visit Manchester United at Old Trafford on the 3rd of December.
They will have home games against Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City over April and May in a tough-looking run-in, before ending the season with an away game to Hull City.
