1.Hugo Lloris, Tottenham
Since joining the club last summer, Lloris has taken the league by storm with his unusual style of goalkeeping mostly seen in continental Europe. Linked with Arsenal prior to his move from Lyon, Lloris was at first a little shaky in his play, but has developed into the league’s best. Playing a high line, almost sweeper-esque position, Lloris truly personifies the last man, and last line of defence. His outstanding reflexes and downfield vision makes him the ideal keeper to play in Spurs’ counterattacking style, Lloris plays an important part in Tottenham’s attacking play.
