The La Liga Champions haven’t added to their squad since they signed Neymar from Santos in May.
Barcelona’s President Sandro Rosell has claimed that the La Liga Champions still have business to do in the transfer market this summer, Goal.com reports.
The Spanish club signed Neymar from Santos for £48 million in May but have yet to make anymore additions to their squad, despite reports suggesting that they are on the look out for a new central defender.
David Luiz, Daniel Agger and Mats Hummels have all been linked with Barcelona over the past few months but the club have yet to make a move for any of them.
Rosell now claims that could change, believing the club to need one more signing before the end of the transfer window.
“We want to add one more player to our squad before the end of the transfer window,” the Barca president was quoted as saying by Sport.
“However, it’s important to acknowledge that you cannot always get the player you want as some clubs simply don’t want to sell.”
Recent reports have suggested that the La Liga giants will make a move for Liverpool defender Daniel Agger after being priced out of a move for Chelsea’s David Luiz, with the Blues demanding £40 million for Brazilian centre back.
