Spurs take Danish trialists on recommendation of former player.Tottenham have handed trials to Danish youngsters Soren Andreasen and Kasper Nissen on the recommendation of their former player Allan Nielsen, according to Sky Sports.
Andreasen, 17, and Nissen, 16, have both come to White Hart Lane from Danish club Esbjerg, and are rated highly by Nielsen, who revealed he had a hand in organising the deal.
“They are young talents who have done very well so far,” Nielsen is quoted as saying.
“The trials came into being through my contacts with Spurs and it will be an exciting experience for them.
“Of course there is always a jump when you have to take the step from being a prospect, but for the future, they have great potential.”
The pair will have another of their fellow countrymen to look up to during their time with Spurs, with Christian Eriksen joining the club from Ajax this summer in an £11m deal. The attacking midfielder is arguably Denmark’s best player at the moment.
