The Tigers will now meet with the 28 year old Croatian international to discuss personal terms ahead of a deal to bring the former Rangers man in to boost the KC Stadium attack.
Jelavic will hope that the move results in the regular first team football he needs ahead of the 2014 World Cup finals and Hull City manager Steve Bruce will hope that the addition boosts his attack.
Hull City have scored just 22 goals in 20 Premier League matches, six of those coming against Fulham, and Jelavic will certainly provide a strong physical presence up front.
Jelavic has started just five Premier League games this season but did score twice in Everton’s recent FA Cup win over QPR.
