Aaron Lennon
The speedy winger has struggled with injuries this season but has been one of Spurs’ most consistent players when fit. With Andros Townsend and Erik Lamela still out, Lennon is a banker to start this one.
Mousa Dembele
After limping off against City, Dembele is presumably a doubt for this match but Sherwood did not mention the Belgian’s condition in his pre-match press conference, so expect him to be fit.
Paulinho
The Brazilian is fit again after a Charlie Adam horror-tackle ruled him out for a month. Sherwood was favourably impressed with Paulinho’s performance against Stoke and he should go straight into the team at the expense of the disappointing Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Nabil Bentaleb
The 19-year-old is clearly a favourite of Sherwood’s but looked lost against City and will be lucky to keep his place. With Nacer Chadli and Sigurdsson failing recent auditions for the left wing spot, however, Bentaleb should start with Eriksen pushed wide.
