Tottenham Hotspur are said to be lining up a move for Valencia defender Adil Rami this summer as they look to bolster their options at the back, according to Football Direct News.

The controversial Frenchman is currently on loan with Serie A giants AC Milan until the end of the season, having been ushered out of Spain following a high profile falling out with the club’s management when he criticised the club for their lack of quality and ambition.
He made the move to Italy in October of last year, but was only allowed to train with the club until he was allowed to make his debut in January when his registration was able to be passed over to the San Siro outfit.
However, he is unlikely to return to play for the Spaish giants again and they will look to cash in on him by listening to offers at the end of the season.
And a source close to Spurs has said that the club are looking into the possibility of bringing him to White Heart Lane after their defence has shown signs of cracking this term.
