Toffees want Liberty Stadium ace.

Check in to Everton vs Manchester United

Everton are looking to lure Ivory Coast international Wilfried Bony from Swansea City this summer though have been told that the Liberty Stadium ace will cost them £24m according to the Sunday Mirror.

Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is looking to bring in a prolific forward to lead his attack with Romelu Lukaku likely to return to Stamford Bridge when his loan spell at the Merseyside club comes to a close and Bony’s form this term has led to the Spaniard targeting the Swans star.

Swansea City paid Vitesse Arnhem £12m for Bony last July and the powerful marksman has had an excellent debut season in the English top tier, netting 22 goals in all competitions.

Bony may well be tempted by a move to a side at the top end of the Premier League table and clearly if Everton secure a spot in Europe then the 25 year old’s interest will only increase.

Bony’s goals appear to be on course to say Garry Monk’s side from the drop with his brace at Newcastle United this weekend helping the Welsh club to secure a much needed win.
