Serie A side chase White Hart Lane duo.
Napoli will look to use experienced forward Goran Pandev as bait as Rafa Benitez pushes on with efforts to sign Tottenham pair Sandro and Erik Lamela according to talkSPORT.
San Paolo boss Rafa Benitez is ready to listen to offers for Macedonian international Pandev, who has a year to run on his current contract, who is said to be a White Hart Lane target.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy may well be keen on strengthening his attack but will be looking to cash-in on either Lamela or Roberto Soldado before doing so and therefore any chance of using the Argentine forward in some sort of exchange deal could be considered.
The north London side paid a club record £30m to bring in Lamela and therefore would be looking to recoup as much of that outlay as possible in any such swap move.
Sandro has gone off the boil this term and his relationship with the club will have suffered as a result of the Brazilian’s attitude at being dropped for Tottenham’s fixture against Fulham last month.
Whilst Lamela and Soldado have proven something of an expensive mistake Tottenham would do well to do as much as is necessary to retain the services of Emmanuel Adebayor and youngster Harry Kane, both of whom impressed in the second half of what has proven a tough season for the club.
