Queens Park Rangers head coach Harry Redknapp wants to sign West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison on a permanent deal for next season, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.

The west London club overcame Derby County 1-0 in Saturday’s Championship playoff final at Wembley Stadium thanks to a dramatic late winner from front man Bobby Zamora.

And now the club are busy preparing for life back in the Premier League again next season, with the experienced Redknapp said to be lining up a number of potential transfer targets, one of which is said to be that of the Hammers’ highly rated England Under-21 international.

Morrison, 21, has just finished a six-month loan spell at Loftus Road after falling out of favour with Hammers boss Sam Allardyce.
