45. Serge Aurier (Toulouse)

With Sagna leaving, Arsenal may already be on track to signing a replacement at right-back, with impressive Toulouse youngster Serge Aurier being strongly linked with the Gunners. The 21-year-old looks a terrific prospect with his displays in Ligue 1, and he contributed six goals and six assists from the back this season, showing that he can offer plenty going forward as well as doing his duties at the back. Aston Villa have also previously been linked with the Ivory Coast international, but Arsenal now look the favourites to land him this summer.

44. Alberto Moreno (Sevilla)

Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno has been one of the best young players in Spain this season and will be one to look out for at this summer’s World Cup as well. There is still a chance that a big move could be completed before the holders kick off their defence of the tournament, with Liverpool currently looking the likeliest to get their hands on the talented 21-year-old. Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with the player, who has also unsurprisingly attracted plenty of interest from clubs in his native Spain, with Real Madrid thought to be keeping tabs on his situation.

43. Luke Shaw (Southampton)

One of English football’s brightest young talents at the moment, Southampton left-back Luke Shaw has had another tremendous season in the Premier League, and has established himself for his country as well after edging Ashley Cole out for a place in Roy Hodgson’s England squad for this summer’s World Cup. Manchester United look the favourites to sign him at present, but there has been plenty of talk over the last few months about the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool also looking to throw their hat into the ring. With great ability at the back and going forward, Shaw certainly looks ready to make the step up to a bigger club.

42. Marek Hamsik (Napoli)

After a slight dip in form this season, speculation has grown that Napoli could be ready to listen to offers for Slovakian playmaker Marek Hamsik. The 26-year-old has been one of the top attacking midfield players in Serie A over recent years, and he looks set to attract plenty of interest this summer if he is allowed to leave. Manchester United‘s desire to strengthen in that position has seen them linked with the player, though Chelsea have also been linked as contenders to sign him. A skillful and intelligent midfielder with an eye for goal, Hamsik would likely cost around £33m, but could be one of the signings of the summer if he can get back to his best. A new challenge in the Premier League could be just what he needs after ten years in Italy.

41. Hakan Calhanoglu (Hamburg)

Turkish youngster Hakan Calhanoglu could be heading to England this summer after a superb breakthrough season in the Bundesliga with Hamburg. Although Hamburg struggled against relegation for much of the year, eventually securing survival via a playoff victory, Calhanoglu had a fine individual season, scoring 11 goals and providing four assists for his team-mates. Still only 20, the attacking midfielder looks like one of the most promising young players in Europe at the moment, and it has been reported that Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool would all be ready to make offers to bring him to the Premier League ahead of next season.
