Check in to Spain vs Chile

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is ready to ring the changes with an extensive clear-out of the White Hart Lane squad he has inherited from former boss Tim Sherwood according to the Daily Mirror.

Given that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy invested over £110m on new additions last summer one imagines that he will insist Pochettino looks to player sales to cover a predominant portion of funds needed to invest in new talents.

Here are the seven players set to leave the north London club.

Spanish international cost a then club record of £26.5m but consistently failed to deliver the good, his return of six Premier League goals from 28 Premier League appearances is even more appalling when you consider four of those goal came from the spot.

A move back to La Liga seems plausible though a lot could depend on just how much Levy is willing to lose on his investment.
