Spurs keen on Swiss international centre-back.

Pochettino is believed to have been impressed by the youngsters displays for Basel in the Champions League last season that saw the club clock up two victories over Premier League giants Chelsea.
His hopes were scuppered when Schar – also a target for Arsenal and Barcelona – was surprisingly left out of Switzerland’s 2-1 comeback win over Ecuador on Sunday.
But Schar could be handed a chance to impress the Argentine tactician this weekend should he be recalled to the squad in time to face group favourites France.
Schar had been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal during the January transfer window, but Basel managed to fend off the interest having only just lost winger Mohamed Salah to Chelsea.
However, this time around the club have conceded that they may not be able to keep a hold of him as interest in his signature continues to grow.
