Rodgers wants Dutch goal machine to replace Suarez.
Brendan Rodgers has reportedly targeted Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar as the ideal man to replace Barcelona bound Luis Suarez, according to the Daily Express.
Rodgers will look to reinvest the money he receives for the Uruguayan by purchasing a top quality striker that will ensure the blow of losing Suarez is significantly softened.
However, it is thought that Arsenal have a long standing interest in the 30-year-old and will look to make their own offer to beat Liverpool to the punch.
