Pochettino wants to use his connections at former club Southampton to land £20m rated midfielder Schneiderlin ahead of the Gunners, according to the Daily Express.
The 24-year-old has greatly impressed for the Saints over the past two years and was included in France’s 23-man 2014 World Cup squad and is expected to follow Rickie Lambert, Luke Shaw and Adam Lallana away from the south coast.
