Welsh left-back to make White Hart Lane switch.
Tottenham will complete the signing of Swansea City left-back Ben Davies within the next 24 hours according to the Daily Mail.
The 21 year old Welsh international is in Toronto training with the north London side and had a medical over the weekend and Icelandic attacker Gylfi Sigurdsson is expected to move in the opposite direction as part of a swap deal.
The move will cost Tottenham £8m plus Sigurdsson and will represent Pochettino’s first signing as Spurs boss.
Davies has matured into a very capable left-back and is arguably a more consistent performer than the likes of Danny Rose and Benoit Assou-Ekotto whilst Jan Vertonghen is far more effective in a central defensive role.
Ben Davies made his debut in August 2012 and has been a virtual ever present since, making 85 appearances for Swansea City.
There is also speculation that Dutch keeper Michel Vorm may also make a similar move from Swansea City to Tottenham this summer.
