Kind draw for Spurs, but tricky tie for the Tigers.
Tottenham Hotspur will face Cypriot opposition in the Europa League playoff round.
Spurs have been drawn against Apollon Limassol, who finished second in the Cypriot First Division last season.
Limassol made it to the Europa League’s group stage last term, finishing third, above Legia Warsaw, but behind Lazio and Trabzonspor.
Apollon were knocked out of this season’s Champions League in the qualifying rounds, losing 3-1 to Zenit on aggregate, after winning the first leg 1-0.
Spurs will travel to Cyprus on August 21, then play the return leg at White Hart Lane seven days later.
Meanwhile, Hull City have been paired with Belgium’s KSC Lokeren OV.
Lokeren finished fifth in the 2013-14 Pro League.
Their domestic campaign is already two games old, having kicked off on July 26.
