Championship side Brentford edged into round two of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night after seeing off League Two Dagenham & Redbridge in a penalty shootout.
The game went to spot kicks after 12 goals were shared evenly during 120 minutes of free-flowing football.

The match equalled the record for the highest scoring League Cup game ever, which was set by Arsenal’s 7-5 win at Reading in October 2012.
It is the highest scoring draw in the competition’s history.
