Spanish left-back Alberto Moreno was in tears on Tuesday night as he said an emotional farewell to Sevilla fans following the UEFA Super Cup in Cardiff.
The 22-year-old is expected to become Liverpool’s 10th summer signing very shortly, with the two clubs having agreed a transfer fee in the region of £12m.
Moreno was pictured at the Merseyside club’s Melwood training base on Wednesday by an amateur photographer.
Liverpool’s summer spending is set to go beyond the £100m mark.
They have brought in Adam Lallana, Dejan Lovren, Lazar Markovic, Divock Origi, Emre Can and Rickie Lambert, as well as landing Javier Manquillo on loan.
Younsters Lawrence Vigouroux and Kevin Stewart have both moved to Anfield from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
