Arsenal want Danny Welbeck after Olivier Giroud suffers injury
There was bad news for the Gunners this weekend as Giroud picked up a foot problem during the 2-2 Premier League draw with Everton on Saturday.
Reports now suggest that the France international could be absent from the first team until 2015 and this has made Arsene Wenger looks for alternatives in attack.
The Daily Mail reports that Welbeck is one of the main targets for recruitment, although United do not want to sell to a direct rival.
