Tottenham Hotspur will reach the group stage of the Europa League for the fourth consecutive season if they manage to avoid a home defeat to AEL Limassol tonight.

Limassol travel to North London as huge underdogs after losing 2-1 in last week’s first leg in Cyprus.

AEL led for most of that game, before substitute Erik Lamela turned the tie on its head, providing second-half assists for Roberto Soldado and Harry Kane.

Soldado and Kane are both likely to feature again this evening, with Emmanuel Adebayor expected to be given the night off to keep him fresh for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Liverpool.

Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that nothing will be taken for granted, hinting that a strong team will be fielded.
